Mabusela’s ‘Metric Production is a stage and film production company he founded in 2013, which produced the award-winning stage play ‘Connection to Home’ and garnered rave reviews and bagged an award at the 8th Goree International Arts Festival in Senegal, in 2016. The company has gone on to create content for Craft Beer Company; Stimela Brewing. Currently, Metric Productions is producing a science school road show. A show which travels to underprovided schools, giving science kits to schools without science Labs and teaching science through drama.Marcus’s focus is to bring solutions to African problems through storytelling and is collaborating with ‘The Independent State of Nandi’ Co-star Lebo Barole and Vanessa Perumal, Managing Director of JT Communication Solutions in producing a new digital comedy series.As Rubin ‘The Hurricane’ Carter once noted, ‘He who bemoans lack of opportunity forgets that often small doors lead to big rooms’.
