Ecclesiastes is the God inspired writing of Israel’s 3rd King, Solomon. In this book Solomon deals with wisdom and with vanity, often looking at the final outcome of good and bad decisions. He also repeatedly drives home the futility and vanity of this life “under the sun” when it is lived without God.
