From the competition side of things, how and why, then how this became a film, and all the complexities to bring it to life on the big screen. 'Beyond the Raging Sea' is directed by Marco Orsini, who co-wrote with Frederick L. Greene. The gripping adventure of two Egyptian athletes (Omar Nour & Omar Samra) who embark on the world’s toughest row, a 3000 nautical mile open water race across the Atlantic, in a 7-meter rowboat, dedicated to the displaced people crossing dangerous seas…they didn’t make it!
