Today PJ talks about life in Napa Valley during the days of Prohibition. What happened and what people did to survive, plus of course our usual rambling. Join us for another story from these vineyards which have seen so many events unfold through time.

Journey back with us to 1731 when this properties founder was born in the British colony of Virginia. The historic La Grange plantation has watched the revolutionary war, civil war and countless life stories unfold. (Plus, an infamous spanking that altered the look of the house.) The friendly ghosts still welcome visitors even today with wine and music.

A ghost dog? I am onboard for that. In this episode we travel to the vineyards of New York to hear their story of a Manor house that the Travel Channel calls one of the most haunted places in America. Owner(s) who die after moving in, nuns, orphans and a ghost dog all round out this tale from the 1830's.

In this episode PJ recounts a murder spree that shook Sonoma wine country to its core. An unimaginable true crime event plus the story of those that survived it. This is not a murder that any parent will understand and one we had to label as explicit content.
