Joshua standing before the tribes of Israel, after years of leading them through battles and blessings In Joshua 24:15, he says:

"...Choose you this day whom ye will serve... but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

This wasn’t a motivational quote, it was a line in the sand. Allegiance is a choice, often in a world pulling us in multiple directions.

The prophets later echoed this when Israel wavered.

Elijah confronted the people in 1 Kings 18:21:

“1 Kings 18:21 KJV

"...How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him...”

Allegiance is not neutral. It demands a stand
