This week we kick off our Summer series, Echoes of Eden. We will dive into the book of Exodus and discover that God is not satisfied with merely rescuing a people in oppressive bondage to a tyrannical King. While that is part of the narrative, God wants to restore what he had with mankind back in the Garden of Eden: He dwelt with us and we dwelt with him. What are the plagues, the Red Sea crossing, the manna, the water from the rock and the Ten Commandments for? They are a means for him to dwell among mankind and to have intimacy once again.
