Episode 1 – Echoes of Edo: Who Was Edoardo Chiossone?

🎧 In our very first episode, we explore the life of Edoardo Chiossone, the Italian engraver who built one of the largest and most important collections of Japanese art outside Japan.

🏛️ His legacy lives on in Genoa’s Chiossone Museum of Oriental Art, and now, through the exhibition Hokusai & Ukiyo-e: The Floating World, on view at the Cleve Carney Museum of Art.
