MMM...AHA!

Eclipse Full Moon Meditation & Insight, in tribute to ASR - Jasen Loveland

Listen Later

This episode is dedicated to Andrew Smith Rasmussen aka Jasen Loveland aka the Lone Flanger

who chose to leave this world on his own volition this week. He was a true visionary who gave so much to the world, including contributing and collaborating with the MmmAha collective, gifting us with his music and talents. An amazing free spirited, creative and loving person, we looked forward to collaborating with him in the future. It was a pleasure to know and work with him, and his brilliant creativity and mind will be dearly missed.

There is a theme emerging repeatedly: It is vital to communicate with your loved ones how important they are and how important who they are and what they’re doing for this world are so valuable. Never hesitate to let someone know how much you care about them.

We are human. As human beings we all need and deserve to be acknowledged and appreciated for simply who we are - not what we do.

Our consciousness allows us to communicate, might it not always the be the greatest, we must try. We are here on this earth together, and we need to learn to vulnerably communicate with each other in order to support one another.

Many amazing talented people out there are undervalued and unnoticed. These people often live on a daily basis dealing with severe mental health issues, which stem from the society we’ve created. A simple way we each can turn this around is to acknowledge those around you. To acknowledge their mental health is not the problem, and that their mental health is rooted in the socioeconomic system we have created and all participate in today.

The mental health and suicide crisis is alarming, and we all need to take pause and decide to shift the systems in place effecting these. We must destigmatize mental health and focus our shift towards a different way of perceiving mental health.

If you have friends who bring joy in life, then please please let them know how valuable and important they are to you. I often encounter is people feeling helpless about what to do, but there are some small things you can do to not feel so helpless:

Be vulnerable

Listen

Hold space for and reach out to those struggling.

Provide yourself with self love,

Be vulnerable enough to show love to those around you

Remember those who struggle with mental health is like being in an invisible wheel chair, yet you never know what someone might be going through on the exterior

It’s also incredibly important to find ways to acknowledge the creative output of your friends and loved ones that are so very often undervalued in our society. If you find yourself too busy to take time to do these things, then you might take a moment to examine what needs to change so you can be more supportive.

Dearest Andrew we’ll see you in whatever forms you chose to show us your presence and we know you’re magical spirit remains. We look forward to seeing you in whatever dimension next takes form for you. The closing of this podcast we’ll be playing a track from Andrew which he gave to Mmmaha:

The Lone Flanger - Dreaming of the Old Earth

Separately we’ll release two more pieces Andrew gifted us.

Thank you for tuning in, and Andrew, thank you for your contributions to this world and you are going to be dearly missed.
