Tomorrow (June 21), we’re going to experience an annular solar eclipse in Taiwan! So Andrew has decided to make Ellen a coffee-jelly-eclipse in a bowl to celebrate the occasion. In today's show we'll tell you all about the Japanese origins of this old coffee-house favorite. 

Today’s menu: In our first course, we’ll tell you all about the “ring of fire” that will be visible in tomorrow’s eclipse. In our second course, Andrew heads into the Feast Meets West test kitchen to make a coffee jelly eclipse for Ellen. And in our third and final course, we’ll be sampling the coffee eclipse right here in the studio!
