The gang, fresh from their adventure on the Stars Our Destination, prepare to make the exchange with Dr. Simic; unfortunately, it doesn't go exactly as planned and they find themselves beating a hasty retreat. They also discover exactly what the mechanical birds do and possibly set themselves up to make a fortune (also maybe destroy Mars).
