ECW was one of the hottest wrestling companies of all time and on the heels of two successful 'One Night Stand' PPVs, WWE decided to bring ECW back as a third brand.

A lot of guys from the original run including Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Sandman, RVD and Stevie Richards. Kurt Angle and Big Show came over from RAW and then there are some new faces... Kelly (she didn't have the second Kelly yet), Kevin Thorn and..... The ECW Zombie.

This is supposed to be the debut of an alternative but it feels very WWE-influenced.
