Ed Calle has been called by many of his peers to be the most versatile saxophonist on the planet. From very humble beginnings where playing sax wasn’t even a first consideration, to taking the Grammy stage and teaching the next generation of musicians.  Dr. Calle joins Ed Berliner for this edition of “The Man in the Arena” to talk about the meeting with musical legends that would have made anyone nervous, to the humble beginnings for someone who never thought about playing the sax, right to the big news about a mystery album no one thought still existed heading for release.
