As a consultant, Ed advised multiple medical societies during the development of Obamacare. He has written editorials on universal healthcare for US News & World Report, Smerconish.com, and many other online publications.

In 2020, Ed started the Healing American Healthcare Coalition where he publishes a twice-monthly newsletter for members called the Three Minute Read. This newsletter is designed to keep healthcare professionals informed on important research and industry news. Ed strongly believes that healthcare is a right and not a privilege and that seeking health care should not have the potential to lead to bankruptcy. Together with his co-author, Dr. Michael Hutchinson, Ed has created a universal healthcare plan for the United States that would actually save our country $1 trillion per year.
