Joseph Pinto, the barflypoet

edacious

Listen Later

i want to rip her open…

i want to be back inside her skin…

‘edacious’

a year since we’ve truly spoken. tack another half just to twist my guts. rationality wipes scores from the wall but fingers persist the death spiral down. a hole to another universe swallowed the sheetrock and it’s just as good cause it hides the cavity my fist punched through. i miss you. and if you come back to my world again i’d consume your bones. take in all your cells so no matter what i do that do ain’t done alone. pride is the frost that kills the bloom and the ice across our line a reminder our climate askew. i’m used to dragging days and nights i’ve consumed too much booze but it keeps you from leaving me and condemns me to writing you. just come back. there’s a cancer staring at all the restrictions and if only you threw open the same sashes to make yourself as carnivorous as i.

edacious:

voracious and devouring
