“Hey Henry, recently I discovered something that I thought you would find interesting. Have you ever really looked into the background of our fair town? I was doing some light reading in the public records. I know, how unlike me. But it was for a theory I had, and as you would expect, there was a lot of boring, dry paperwork to slog through. Not my idea of a fun time. Anyway, the interesting thing wasn’t what I found there. Rather, it was what I didn’t find. Henry, do you know what year Eden’s Grove was founded? You would be hard pressed to know the answer. And the funny thing is, you can’t look it up. Because there are no records of the town’s founding, at least as far as I can tell. And trust me, I have looked everywhere. So if you happen to find them, let me know. And while you’re at it, could you tell me the town’s population, slogan, charter, and a million other things too? Because as far as I can tell, they’ve never existed.”
