For the first time in ages I’m actually going out to a gig tonight! I know! The launch gig for RM Hubbert’s new album, featuring a spoken word set by Aidan Moffat – should be a top night out. Anyway, as a result you have a pre-recorded podcast this week. It also seems to be a particular eclectic mix of music. Instrumental banjo, 80’s inspired electro-pop, country, and a track from the always unclassifiable Alligator Indian.
As if that wasn’t enough I seem particularly confused for the majority of this week’s show – all alone without the crutch of the twittersphere to fall back on.
Next week’s podcast will be another pre-recorded show. Apologies to any live devotees. It will also feature special guests Nye and Adam Todd of The Spook School. Hooray!
