I’m still under the weather this week, but like the trouper that I am I’ve done gone and made one of these podcast shows for you, albeit with a bit less chat than normal.
I couldn’t resist putting that picture up there. I know that it’s two weeks in a row a train themed image has been used for the podcast artwork, but last weekend we took Edinburgh Man Junior to the steam railway at Bo’ness. I was rather sceptical but it was actually a great day out – even if the steam train was broken. Instead there was this great old British Rail diesel train which took me back to my formative years when we had a nationalised rail service in the UK. Ah, the 70’s.
In music news, Edinburgh’s Meursault will soon be no more. Sob. Hence we start today’s show not with rambling by your good host, but their wonderful “One Day This’ll All Be Fields”.
