Professional counsellor, hypnotherapist, ufologist researcher and metaphysician, Mary Rodwell is the founder and Principal of ACERN (Australian Close Encounter Resource Network).  ACERN’s primary role is to offer professional counselling, support, hypnotherapy and information to individuals and their families with ‘anomalous’ paranormal experiences, particularly specializing in Abduction-contact experiences.

Recognised Internationally, as one of Australia's leading researchers in the UFO and Contact phenomenon, Mary is the Vice-President of Star Kids Project Ltd and an Advisory Committee member of Exopolitics.

She is the author of the book "Awakening: How Extraterrestrial Contact Can Transform Your Life" and has lectured around the globe as well as having appeared on international TV programs such as the Australian documentary "OZ Files", The BBC's "The Paranormal Files" and Discovery Channel's "Animal X". She has also participated in a University debate forum on the phenomenon, in 2006 at Oxford University, UK.

Mary's work asserts that while many "Star Children" sometimes called "Indigo's" have telepathic abilities, and are spiritually awakened, the main difference is that "Star Children" have recollections of encounters with extraterrestrial beings.
