*Sips Tea* Ok so, I will admit I'm getting tired of talking about Prince and the outcome of him dying without an estate plan, butttt get ready to sip on this tea because the process of settling his estate has been.... a hot mess to say the least. I mean 5 years, thousands (if not millions) in legal fees spent, half siblings and other "family" coming out the woodwork, and don't even get me started on the "new" album that was released. If nothing else, let this be a perfect example of why planning your legacy is so important!  

I also had the pleasure of interviewing Rosalyn Ortega-Elie aka Urban Teach. A Latinx powerhouse, Rosalyn is truly an inspiration, using her own personal experiences to help educate the community. After realizing that renting was only getting more and more expensive, she decided to go on a journey of educating herself on real estate, finances, taxes, and investing. Now Rosalyn is a successful real estate investor and entrepreneur, with multiple streams of income and shows others how to do the same- yes even those with college degrees. Talk about building generational wealth!
