Caesar Aceituno's family moved from Guatemala to Los Angeles. During community college, he discovered his passion for learning and education. After considering several options, he found himself at UC San Diego. Appreciating the value of community, he sought out connections and mentors that supported his academic journey. After high school, she attended a community college and signed up for a transfer agreement program that would guarantee her a spot at UC San Diego.
