Starting next week, the iBudget program is rolling out to DPS 8th graders and high school students. Ashley Grayned, Executive Director of Innovative Programs and Strategic Planning, Justin Roley & Jennifer Wheat, of  Land of Lincoln Credit Union and Nicole Pinkston of Viewig Real Estate joined Byers & Co to talk about the iBudget program. 

iBudget is a Financial Literacy event focus is to expose students in the area of financial literacy using real life, real work application. Each student will receive a personal profile assigning a career, salary and family size from Land of Lincoln and where they will walk through a budget sheet. After the budget discussion, students will be released to an area with booths where representatives from Ameren, Kroger, Dansig Insurance, YMCA Childcare, Xfinity, Viewing and the City of Decatur. These partners will entice and present their products and try to work their business in the student's budget.
