Creating an educational system that is accessible to all in Africa to facilitate the training of medical rehabilitation professionals is becoming a priority amongst educators as we join the WHO to adopt a competency-based educational system. With us on this podcast is Michael Rowe, an Associate Professor and the Departmental Chairperson of Physiotherapy at University of Western Cape. He is the co-founder of In Beta, a virtual community of physiotherapy educators, and the founding editor of OpenPhysio, an open access journal with a focus on physiotherapy education.
