Guest Bio: Dr. Winley

Dr. Charlene D. Winley is a certified life coach, speaker, author, CEO, and founder of ReScriptedLife Coaching and ReScriptedLife Academy. Through her own experiences of sexual and mental abuse, homelessness, divorce, rejection, and grief, Dr. Winley equips women who are struggling with issues regarding Adverse Childhood Experiences, to come out of hiding and recover their identity so that they can live their life on purpose. Dr. Winley has a master’s degree in Human Development, Cognition, and Learning from Columbia University with a concentration in Clinical Psychology. She holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She is the vice president of the Attachment & Trauma Network, and a driving force to promote healing of children impacted by trauma through supporting their families, schools, and communities. She is the former 2nd Vice President of the Virginia Beach Branch of the National Association of the Advancement of Colored People, NAACP, Chair of the Education and ACTSO Committee. Dr. Winley, is a best-selling author and published “ReScriptedLife-31 Days to Reconnect with Your Purpose,” and co-author of three anthologies; SurvivingHer Anthology- Count it All Joy, God-fident-Stories of Unshakable Faith, and My Sister Helped Me Healed.”
