Noor Khan is an educationist by profession and supporter of Lucknowi/ Awadhi culture by passion.

Specialising in English, she taught for many years at the Karamat Husain Muslim Girls' College from where she retired as the Principal.

Currently she is an Executive Committee Member of Alliance Francaise in Lucknow.

She works closely with Sanatkada, a weaves and crafts outlet in Lucknow.

Sanatkada also organizes an annual 5 day festival highlighting various aspects of Lucknowi/ Awadhi culture.
