Edward I of England steals the Stone of Scone....or does he?   The Stone of Scone, on which Scottish kings had been crowned, was confiscated by Edward I of England and moved to Westminster Abbey. Edward even had a special coronation chair created to house the stone. Physically putting the Scottish coronation throne below that of the English.  But did the savvy monks of Scone have the last laugh?
