Edward Low is often referred to as Ned Low. He was a successful pirate during the Golden Age of Piracy. Was he the most successful? No, but there is definitely a case to be made that he was the most sadistic pirate. He didn't just rob and kill, he tortured. And he enjoyed every second of it.
