We all love a good performance and Edwin Forrest was no stranger to the stage. One of America's first "stars" he quickly became the favorite amongst a generation of young patriotic theatre goers. However this love from his adoring fans would also lead him down a path of infamy and an interesting legacy. He stood up for his fellow actors and reveled in the spotlight.
