How to Build a Business While Traveling with Kids

Meet Ka Sundance. He and his wife Katie have six kids and spend most of their time out of their native Germany. They travel extensively, while presently using Costa Rica as a home base.

As Ka puts it, there never was a time when they weren't a traveling family, as Ka and Katie started a family while traveling. But how to build a business while traveling with kids? It wasn't easy, but Ka explains some of the steps they've made over the years.

Building a Business While Traveling

Ka talks about how he built his business while living overseas. Once a machinist in car factories, he explains how they started building a business around eBooks and courses.

Traveling with Six Kids

When they first arrived in Costa Rica, they carried 18 suitcases with them. Eighteen! But by 2016, they were down to two. Read that again: two suitcases for eight people. "You can do that in tropical countries, " says Ka. We know from experience, as well. Travel in colder places, and you need to pack warmer clothes, which take up space. Travel in Vietnam, Malaysia or Indonesia, however, and you just need a swimsuit and a few pairs of shorts and T-shirts.
