Anticipating a very busy year ahead, we thought to focus on how women can manage stress and chaotic schedules differently.
Our guest, Dr Leslie Ann Foster, is the founder and executive director of Masimanyane Women’s Rights International based in London. It is an NGO whose objective is to eradicate gender-based violence to achieve a healthy, safe, secure, equal, responsible, and supportive society for all women and girl children.
Dr Foster shared some self care tips stressing that all self care plans should focus on satisfying the mind, body, and spirit. She shared the 20-minute strategy for early risers and how this can help with stress management and self-improvement. Survivors of Gender based violence were not left out as our guest shed some insights into how they can overcome the trauma they experience.
