Effects of Divore on Individuals

As a 17-year-old girl whose parents got divorced when I was 9, I never realized the different roles, norms and institutions that can be affected by divorce. In this podcast, I will be diving into the challenges having divorced parents may bring, how it may affect different areas of your life and ways to cope with it. Alongside my sister, we will be able to give different viewpoints of how divorce affected us based on our ages at the time. My sister is now 22 and was 13 when my parents divorced. Age is a major factor in how divorce affects you and your response to it. We will also cover the effects divorce has on us, individually, on intimate relationships and on families in general. Listen in on our hardships, challenges and how we overcame them and continue to cope with them, today.
