10/8/2022: Effects of the strong U.S. dollar around the world, Congress and insider trading, crypto market predictions, & who is TINA & why is she (or it) dead?

We've seen an incredible array of disarray in the financial markets on a global basis. The U.S. dollar is very, very strong right now, meaning the dollar is worth a lot more than other currencies around the world. That's really good news for the U.S., but it's really bad news for everybody else.

Members of Congress -- 18% of them are engaging in insider trading, according to research from The New York Times. 183 senators or representatives did a stock trade in the past three years, and more than half of them sat on committees that gave them insight into the companies whose shares they bought or sold.
