2024 is almost just around the corner, but I believe that you can’t turn over to a new page in your book before you’ve taken everything you needed to from the last one. And let me tell you, my last page was pretty full! So today on Redefining Wealth, I’m reviewing my 2023: whether I stuck to my themes of “effortless acceleration”, what my version of progress looked like, and what I’m going to be doing differently going forward. Maybe you can sense this need, but you’re grappling with uncertainty and resistance. When we are being called to pivot, we can struggle when we feel uncertain about what is going on. But we have to listen. We have to know the signs and indicators that we are ready for a pivot while they are pebbles and not yet boulders. This episode is all about navigating the journey of embracing change, whether it’s in your career, relationships, or personal endeavors. From recognizing the subtle whispers of discontent to embracing the signs pointing towards a new path, this episode has a lot of honest and practical strategies to help you pivot with grace and dignity. You are not alone. We have all experienced, in some way or another, a reset or a refresh in the last few years. But we haven’t all experienced it the same way, nor have we prepared ourselves for the evolution we’re called to make. How to Pivot with Ease When You Don’t Know Where to Start

Welcome aboard our purpose-driven flight!  Today, we're exploring a topic that's as inevitable as it is unpredictable: the turbulence of purpose. You know, that bumpy, turbulent journey we all experience as we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of our dreams and aspirations. Just like when you're soaring through the skies and suddenly hit a patch of turbulence, life's journey is full of unexpected twists and turns. No matter how prepared we are or how clear our destination, we can't avoid the bumps along the way. In this Wisdom Point episode, let’s get into what turbulence means both in the air and in our lives. We'll unpack all those thoughts that consume us when we find ourselves in the turbulence of purpose – the conflict, the confusion, the instability. But here's the thing: it's all part of the journey. Myesha Chaney on Divorce, Faith, and Reinventing Your Life

Welcome to this episode of Redefining Wealth, where we are focusing on the theme of “Be Free.” Today, I’m joined by Latoya Matthews, a woman of courage and resilience, as we explore the power of embracing one's story and breaking free from the chains of shame. Latoya's journey embodies the essence of liberation, inspiring us to confront our past traumas and rewrite the narratives that have held us captive. Latoya is a grace-filled freedom coach with a reputation as a beacon of hope for leading women who have experienced shame and self-condemnation to wholeness and freedom. She spearheaded and launched a host of dynamic faith based initiatives in her quest to see women empowered and set free from emotional, childhood, and broken relationship trauma. She hosts an annual three-day retreat entitled The Free Woman: The Sacred Space for Women to Gather and Heal. She’s here today to share a bit about her debut memoir Unveiled Freedom. *DISCLAIMER: If you are sensitive to the topic of abortion, this may not be the episode for you because that is a part of Latoya’s story. Many of us have things in our lives that have kept us ashamed and tried to abort us from freedom. There are things that we were told to feel shame for and instantly felt shame for that have been following us our whole lives. 
Show Notes:[5:00] - I am liberated to live boldly. [11:48] - You may not have had an abortion in your life, but you’ve had experiences that have tried to abort your destiny. [14:08] - We try to cover ourselves up so we don’t see the shame. [16:37] - How many of us have something that we have normalized that is connected to shame? [19:13] - There is a cost to not knowing who you are. Shame is a hindrance to your purpose. [21:07] - Start by finding a safe space to tell your story. [23:45] - Everyone has the power to change, but not everybody has the desire to do so. [26:13] - If you feel like your story is a part of your purpose, you need to go through the process of owning it. [38:14] - It is too much to take on the judgment of others, especially when we already judge ourselves. [42:43] - You have to be committed to the healing process to be vulnerable enough to share your story.
