The Food and Drug Administration and Prime Foods Processing LLC are recalling Egg Custard Steamed Buns as 2 varieties of them contain undeclared sesame. Those with an allergy to sesame could develop a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction should they consume this product. The affected products are Steam Buns with Egg Custard, Lot Codes #24149, and #24150 and Steam Buns with Egg Custard and Coconut, Lot Codes #24149. These products are sold frozen.
These products were sold at Asian grocery stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Kansas, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington state.
