In America it’s called "Egg Drop Soup", in Taiwan it’s "Egg Flower Soup". Either way, it's a belly-warming treat that we've decided needs to be sampled at Easter (which lands this year on April 21).
Today’s menu: In our first course, we get things started by referring to our Chinese Almanac for an introduction to the current two-week micro-season: Grain Rains (穀雨). In our second course, Andrew heads into the Feast Meets West test kitchen with Ellen to cook up some Egg Drop Soup. And in our third and final course, we’ll be sampling that soup on air!
