The Chicago White Sox (a bunch of drunk irish men) throw a world series, and they should be ashamed of themselves, because you should heroically sacrifice your well-being and wages to play baseball.

Every actor, every role in this film suffers from too pure of an irish bloodline. Everything is garish, red, and vaguely drunk.
