This is a song about how I could be annoyed and grumpy every day because of the things that are going on in the world – rainbow flags aren’t allowed, protection of the environment doesn’t seem important any more, refugees aren’t saved at sea, and vegan food is the worst anyway, says Uncle Grumple.

And I want to sing against this, to talk about human rights, to protect queerness, to be loud and stand up against all kinds of injustice and not be silenced.

I’m wearing a button by Evan Sky Arts – a pigeon holds a rainbow coloured bread in its beak.

The instrument is a Kala sparkle concert ukulele in high g tuning.

Written and recorded on the 28th of June 2025. You are allowed to sing the song if you like. But if you use any parts of it, be it words or music, to train AI, you shall forever be stuck on the loo with no paper and an empty smartphone battery on a hot day (translation: my work must not be used to train AI. Not ever.)
