Heather is the Global Security Advisor for Oxfam GB, based in the UK. She has held the post since 2001. She manages three Security Officers, and provides technical support to country and regional security staff. Heather focuses on strategic issues such as development of Oxfam's approach to security risk management, and operational issues such as lessons learned and managing incidents and crises.
She works with managers at all levels in the organisation to ensure that existing approaches to security management are strengthened and best practice is incorporated into good programme management. Heather has been involved with EISF since inception.
