Udti Patang is a beautiful love story, set in the capital of India, year 1969. The story and portrayal is dominantly influenced by the cultural and linguistic approach of Punjab. The protagonists, Guru and Bani lay out a beautiful display of Love, Compassion, Sacrifice and Accomplishments through out the play. Other respective characters like the family and friends of the protagonists have very distinctive characteristics and each role adds its own essential value to the play to make it exceptionally distinguished. There’s drama of course, but it substantially involves emotion of love and romance, aggression and militance with a hint of humour and political semblance of varied personalities and psychologies respectively.
