Torah Portion "עקב/Ekev" which means "Because" delivered on July 31, 2021.This week's portion covers Deuteronomy/Devarim 7:12-11:25, and begins, "And it shall be, because you hear these right-rulings, and shall guard and do them, that יהוה your Elohim shall guard with you the covenant and the loving-commitment which He swore to your fathers,”This week's Torah Portion also means heel, footprint, end, mark, sign and trace. Pastor Richard teaches us to follow at the heel of the Master. When we follow at the Master's heel we learn humility because we are behind the foot in a humble way.Pastor Richard shows that forgiveness is what HaShem requires. It is the first thing we must do - we must learn to forgive.
