The early church was not afraid to tell others what it was that made them who they were. In todays world we are more concerned with political correctness and being tolerant. The early christians were willing to speak out even if it cost them their lives. Paul speaks about experiencing great sorrow and anguish for those who had rejected Jesus. Do we share in that anguish over people in our lives who have rejected Jesus? If we did, wouldn’t we speak up more?
