You don’t have to fight every battle in your own strength. In Nehemiah 2 and 3, we discover that our best defense against the enemy is built through daily devotion, spiritual armor, and a community that stands together. God has not left you defenseless. It’s time to rebuild, put on the armor, and stand firm in the strength of the Lord.

You don’t have to be where you want to be to do what God has called you to do. In this message on Nehemiah 1 and 2, we see how God can use your current position to prepare you, grow your heart for others, and open doors you never expected.

Compromise always comes with a cost, but sometimes our attempts to correct compromise can create a different kind of problem. In Ezra 9 and 10, we see the tension between obedience and love, truth and grace, and the danger of pursuing one without the other. As followers of Jesus, we are called to stand firmly on the truth of God while still caring deeply for the people God cares about, following the example of Jesus who perfectly held grace and truth together.

What God has entrusted to you is meant to be guarded, stewarded, and ultimately surrendered back to Him. In Ezra 8, we see that guarding what God has given us is more than simply protecting it. It means growing our gifts, removing the things that threaten them, preparing for opposition, and trusting God with whatever He has entrusted to us.

Trusting God is often hardest when He has not made the next step clear. In Ezra 8, we see that trusting God does not always mean taking action or waiting for a clear answer, but learning to seek Him faithfully even when the path is uncertain. When our focus is on God, we can trust His faithfulness with whatever decision comes next because He is the One who makes our paths straight.

What if the moments that you were born for are happening now? In this message from Ezra 7, we explore the difference between our purpose and our specific assignment, and why the seasons of preparation, training, and ordinary obedience matter just as much as the moments when God calls us to step up. You are not waiting for your big moment or for someone to recognize you. You were born for this: to know God, glorify Him, obey Him, love others, and make disciples right where He has you.

In Ezra 5 and 6, we see God make a way through opposition, uncertainty, unlikely circumstances, and seasons of waiting as His people remain obedient to what He has called them to do. And while we wait for God to make a way in our lives, we can remember that He has already made the ultimate way through Jesus, redeeming us and bringing us back into His family.

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t starting, it’s starting again. In this message from Ezra 5 and Haggai 1, we explore what happens when opposition, discouragement, misplaced priorities, and “not yet” cause us to stall in what God has called us to do.
