Rich culture, beautiful beaches, vibrant music and delicious cuisines are some of the things people use to describe Mexico. But, this North American nation has another side to it: the land of “Drug Cartels”. This side came to the for-front in the first few days of the New Year when Ovidio Guzmán López, also known as "El Chapo’s son was arrested causing riots in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico.

El Chapo was arrested in 2016, and even after 7 years his name is associated with the riots that jolted Mexico this New Year.
