El Estepario Siberiano is an online drummer from Valencia, Spain who has been blowing up these last few months. He is creating covers, lessons, and other social media content for YouTube and Instagram but does not currently perform with artists.
This is the first time where he is being featured on a podcast, so while I don’t usually interview up and coming drummers anymore I thought it would be great to be the first podcast to feature him because there is no one, to my knowledge, who is growing faster online than him.

Why Should You Listen?
The biggest takeaway, in my opinion, is the concept of having no goals. This is so incredibly contrary to the narrative online. But as you listen to El Estepario’s reasoning behind it, I would say that it makes a lot of sense because it is actually my own personal experience as well. Neither of us had to be convinced through motivational content to dream big and execute this huge goal. We just love what we do and seem to have a lot of desire to work consistently at it and we didn’t really understand what it would turn into. It is just an outlet for what we feel we need to be doing.
Goals are great, don’t get me wrong. But make them bite-sized and realistic. Something that you can actually envision and execute. Try not to think about where it will all lead you to in a few years or question the purpose of why you are doing what you do. If it is moving you forward and you are getting better at whatever it is you are doing, then I would say continue doing it.
