Con motivo de los 40 años de la gran adaptación al cine del libro de Stephen King, dirigida por Stanley Kubrick, la editorial The Op presentó una nueva aventura basada en la cinta que se llamará The Shining: Escape From the Overlook Hotel. Se trata de una aventura cooperativa estilo Escape Room, es decir, los jugadores comenzarán encerrados en una habitación y luego tendrán que resolver puzzles y acertijos mientras se recorre la mansión hasta lograr el objetivo final: escapar de la afilada hacha de un enloquecido Jack Torrance.
