In this entry, the past came back to me in the form of 2 red tail lights on a desolate street in the pitch darkness of night. I watched 2 people I love drive away, but the pain wasn’t from watching them go, it was from the previous time I watched the most important person in my life leave me behind.  It’s clear to me now how much work I have to do to get better mentally and physically. We’re not running away anymore, we’re pressing in and confronting our demons. Let’s turn on the headlights, hit the open road, and have a talk.
