Eleanor Castello, 89, died on Sept. 14, 2025, at the Hudson Valley Hospice House in Hyde Park. Born on Nov. 22, 1935, in Brooklyn, Eleanor married Nicholas Castello 71 years ago. Eleanor was an interior designer for Total Look in Woodbury, Long Island, for over 44 years. Eleanor was devoted to family traditions, friends, and cooking. She was a longtime parishioner of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.  She is survived by her children, Angelo (Julia) Castello and Lee Marion (Dr. Richard) Horowitz; her grandsons, Justin and Jason; her great-grandson, Clark; and extended family and friends.
