Mid-term elections are six months away. It's anyone's guess if it will be social issues, Roe v Wade, state voter suppression laws, or Jan 6 House select Committee findings that turns out Democrats to vote. Perhaps it will be economic issues of inflation, rising interest rates, or concerns of a pending recession that motivates a strong turnout. The rise of white supremacist ideology, replacement theory, continues to capture a segment of interest of GOP voters. Also, hopes of taking back the House and Senate is a strong reason for GOP turnout. One thing is for certain: there is a great deal of importance riding on this election and which direction the country will take.
