The State of Energy’s Hosts Tom Clark and Rand DeWitt discuss Electrification of everything actually creates more carbon emissions. Increased electricity consumption requires more coal. In Wyoming 400 billion pounds of coal was mined in 2020  and in Idaho legislatures have proposed removing damns that produce clean hydro electricity but are harmful to the fish ecosystems.
