Electroshock – Psychiatry's Brain Damage As “Treatment”

The majority of people think that electroshock treatment, or ECT, was banned many years ago.  However, it has been in continual use and is actually being used on more than 100,000 people in the U.S. alone today.  The history of shock treatment is very sordid, starting in Italy where they shocked pigs before slaughter, to the use on soldiers in war to make them “less cowardly.”  Despite psychiatrists admitting that the “therapeutic effect” of ECT is brain damage and the fact that electroshock is used in foreign countries as torture, this barbaric so-called “treatment” is still being used. Kendrick Moxon, an attorney who has worked on cases dealing with electroshock discusses the current status of electroshock in this 34-minute show.
