Romans 9:12 NASB - It was said to her, "The older will serve the younger."

Jacob's name means deciever but God chose to bless Jacob with 12 sons. Along the way Jacob thought he lost his favourite son Joseph but it wasn't true, Joseph was alive! However when God lost His son, He really lost Him, Jesus Christ was lost that we might be found.

Hebrews 11:18 NASB - It was he to whom it was said, "In Isaac your descendants shall be called."

Isaac was the promised child given to Abraham but one day God asked Abraham to offer him as a sacrifice. Abraham was faithful but God proved more faithful still, when He offered His only Son as a sacrifice for us all

Romans 4:3 ESV "For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness."

Abraham is the father of our faith and even though he was a sinful man, God remained true to His covenant promise, the covenant that was fully realised in the person of Jesus Christ

There are times in life when we are caught between a Red Sea and a Pharaoh. How can we learn to trust that our great God, Yahweh, will bring us through?

The Bible teaches us that God is sovereign over all things. The Bible also teaches us that human beings are free moral agents that will be held responsible for their actions. How should we respond to these 2 truths in the Word of God?

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

No matter what we go through in life, it is a wonderful thing to know that God is with us. How does God work in our lives to bring all things together for good?

Romans 8:15 (NASB)

"For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”

There is no fresher air for us to breathe, than to know, that we are indeed, children of God. How can you have assurance that you are His child?

John 7:37 (NIV)

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to Me and drink."

Fresh air is a time of prayer & fasting for us as a church. During this time, how can we learn to satisfy our thirsty souls, with the Living Water of Jesus Christ?
